- Merribel’s Board experience includes a Director role with CMS Energy (NYSE: CMS), a Michigan-based electric and gas utility. At the conclusion for her 9-years of service, she was recognized by her fellow directors for significant contributions to the company’s forward strategy, with an emphasis on clean energy, environmental and sustainability matters, as well as corporate governance.
- She is currently a Board Member of the United States Energy Association (USEA). She also served as a member of the Advisory Council of the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory and as a Director of Alliance Resource Partners (NASDAQ: ARLP).
- She is a member of the Steering Committee of Chapter Zero Italy, the Climate Governance Initiative of the World Economic Forum: it’s mission is to elevate the understanding of Climate challenges at the Director level.

She is Founder and Principal of this 26-year-old strategic advisory firm which has an Energy, Environment, ESG & Climate focus, and works primarily with CEO and C-Suite executives.
The firm has played a major role in the energy transition to a low carbon future. Clients have included General Electric, DuPont, BP, Dow Chemical, Enel North America (Italy), Tractebel Engie (GdF Suez), Electricité de France (EdF), Alstom Power (France), E.On UK (GB), ESB International (Ireland), Hydro-Quebec (Canada), World Business Council on Sustainable Development (Switzerland), World Resources Institute (WRI), and the US Climate Action Partnership (USCAP).
